An accomplished artist, Miriam Watson began painting murals in 1998.

As an elementary school librarian in the Fort Bend Independent School District, she spent two of her summer vacations painting a 1,200 square foot mural in her Austin Parkway Elementary School library. The mural became the center point of the library and started Miriam in a new career path.

Since her retirement from Fort Bend ISD in 2001, she has painted numerous other school libraries, gymnasiums, hallways and cafeterias as well as various children's bedrooms and playrooms.

Each of her murals are custom hand painted and each reflects a unique personality. All were designed by working closely with school personnel and homeowners.
